Delete your account and associated data
There are two ways to permanently delete your Tavara account.
1. In the app — immediate, no waiting period
Delete directly in Tavara
Open Tavara and go to Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account, then type DELETE to confirm.
2. From this page — for people who cannot sign in
Request a confirmation link
Enter the email address registered to your Tavara account. We will send a confirmation link. Your account is not deleted until you use that link.
What is deleted
- Your profile, photo, and settings
- All your posts, comments, and likes — including photos and videos
- Your scorecards, rounds, and stats
- Your GHIN link (your GHIN account itself is not affected)
- Your teemate connections and connection requests
- Tournaments and groups you created — deleted for all participants
- Push notification registrations
Important information
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; the account and its contents cannot be restored afterwards.
Records required for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons are retained only where the law requires, and are not linked back to a usable profile.
Your GHIN account is not affected — deleting Tavara removes the link between the two; your handicap record stays with your golf association.
